FYE at a community college

Do any of you know of a successful FYE program at a community college? I know of several at 4 year institutions, but we would like to start one on our campus. Our Larimer site is currently running a pilot, and I would like to start gathering information.

Yes, I do know of a very successful first year experience. It is ran by Dr. Mary Diedrich, North Hennepin Community College, Brooklyn Park, MN. You can also view her Mindquest academy, for adult learners preparing for college, at: http://www.mindquestacademy.org/

HI Erin:

I know that Ivy Tech Community College (serving over 100k students in Indiana) is running a FYS course called IVYT 101, and this is in addition to other IVYT courses on topics such as college preparation and financial management, usually for new students. The Interim Dean at the Indianapolis campus is Ann Heiny, aheiny1@ivytech.edu.
